Warranty Periods
Bridge Dental Laboratory (“the Company”) provides a commercial warranty for its Goods in accordance with the warranty periods set out in Schedule 1 (Warranty Periods) below (“Warranty Periods”). These Warranty Periods define the minimum period for which the Goods are warranted, subject to fair wear and tear, correct appliance prescription, correct clinical use, and full compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
The applicable Warranty Periods are specific to each category of Goods and form part of the contract between the Company and the Buyer.
Warranty coverage is strictly limited to defects arising directly from workmanship or materials and expressly excludes defects, failures, or unsuitability arising from (without limitation):

  • inaccurate, incomplete, or distorted impressions or scans;

  • incorrect prescription or appliance selection;

  • misuse, neglect, trauma, or abnormal wear;

  • failure to follow clinical or laboratory instructions; or

  • alteration, repair, or adjustment by any third party.

Inspection and Notification
The Buyer shall inspect all Goods immediately upon delivery. Any claim that the Goods are defective, not of satisfactory quality, or not in accordance with the agreed specification must be notified to the Company in writing within seven (7) days of delivery.
Failure to notify the Company within this period shall constitute acceptance of the Goods.
Remedies
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted within the applicable Warranty Period, the Company’s sole obligation and entire liability shall be limited, at its absolute discretion, to repair or replacement of the Goods.
No refunds shall be issued unless expressly agreed in writing by the Company.
Denture Repairs and Additions
Denture repairs and/or additions are expressly excluded from warranty and are provided entirely at the Company’s discretion. Any subsequent repairs, modifications, or adjustments shall not give rise to any warranty entitlement.
Warranty Claims Procedure
If a claim is made during the applicable Warranty Period that the Goods have failed, deteriorated, or become exhausted, the Company reserves the right to require inspection and assessment by its technicians prior to accepting any liability.
All warranty claims must be accompanied by:

  • the appliance in question;

  • the original model; and

  • a new impression and/or scan where requested by the Company.

Failure to return the appliance and original model for examination shall automatically invalidate the warranty.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including (without limitation) loss of profit, loss of business, loss of reputation, or clinical costs incurred by the Buyer or any third party.
The Company’s total liability in respect of any claim arising under or in connection with the supply of the Goods shall in all circumstances be limited to the repair or replacement of the Goods, at the Company’s discretion.
