What does a dental laboratory do?
A dental laboratory makes the custom appliances a dentist prescribes — dentures, retainers, splints, gumshields, whitening trays, wax-ups and more — from scans or impressions the practice sends. We manufacture to prescription and return the finished appliance ready to fit.
How do we open an account with the lab?
Just get in touch or request a price list — there is no contract or minimum order. Send your first case by scan or post and we will take it from there. See switching to us.
Do you work with practices across the UK?
Yes — we post finished work anywhere in the UK and provide tracked labels for sending cases in, with free local collection around Christchurch.
Can we send digital scans, or do you need impressions?
Either. We accept scans from every major intraoral scanner via our digital workflow, or you can post an impression. Digital cases include free 3D-printed models.
What are your turnaround times?
Each appliance has a standard turnaround, with Gold (1 working day) and Silver (2 working day) express options. See our turnaround times.
