This is a suggestion tool only. It offers a starting point for discussion based on your answers — it does not constitute a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a prescription.
The decision to prescribe, and responsibility for it, rests entirely with the treating dentist exercising their own clinical judgement, in line with their GDC obligations and knowledge of the patient.
Snoring can be a symptom of obstructive sleep apnoea — a medical condition. Suspected OSA should be appropriately assessed, including via a sleep study where indicated, before any oral appliance is considered. Bridge Dental Laboratory manufactures to prescription and accepts no liability for clinical decisions made using this tool.

Prescription required. Custom-made dental appliances can only be manufactured to a written prescription from a registered dental or medical practitioner. We design and make to your prescription; diagnosis and the prescribing decision remain reserved to the GDC-registered dentist.

What the snoreguard finder weighs up
Three quick questions narrow our three mandibular advancement devices down to a shortlist to discuss — based on bruxism, how much you want to adjust the jaw position, and what matters most to the patient.

Bruxism
Whether the patient also clenches or grinds. Significant bruxism points towards the MSi — the most durable, wear-resistant of the three.

Adjustment
How much fine-tuning of the jaw position you want over time — titratable designs (MSi, Silensor-SL) versus a fixed, set-and-forget position (Fused).

Priority
Comfort and natural jaw movement (Silensor-SL), durability and strength (MSi), or simplicity and low maintenance (Fused).
Can suggest: the MSi (adjustable, titanium hooks), the Silensor-SL (flexible lateral connectors) or a fused single-piece device.
