Start from one of our 67 designs — flags, marble effects, harlequins, stripes and 3D novelty styles — or keep it plain and let the colours do the work.
Name, number or crest
Add a name, initials or squad number. For teams, a club crest or logo can be set into the guard during fabrication — graphics sit on or between the layers, so they never reduce protection.
Getting it made
From screen to finished gumshield
Every gumshield is custom-fitted, so the design is only half of it — we also need an impression or scan of the upper arch.
One guard
Send your design over and we'll confirm the colours with you. You'll need an upper-arch impression or intraoral scan, which is usually arranged through your own dental practice — then we make the guard to fit and post it out.

Designing a gumshield: common questions
Is the gumshield designer free to use?
Yes — it is free, needs no sign-up, and runs in any browser. Design as many as you like; nothing is ordered until you send your design to us.
What can I customise?
Your colours from a range of over 30, a design style from our 67 options, and personalisation such as a name, initials or squad number. Club crests and logos can also be set in for team orders.
Will the finished gumshield look exactly like the 3D preview?
It is a close visual guide rather than an exact render — screens show colour differently, and marble effects in particular come out slightly unique every time. We confirm the exact colours with you before production.
How do I actually order the gumshield I designed?
Send your design to us and we will confirm the details. Because every guard is custom-fitted, we also need an upper-arch impression or intraoral scan — usually arranged through your dental practice, or through our team ordering process for squads.
Can we get the whole team matching?
Yes. For clubs, schools and year groups we make every guard in the order to the same design and spec, with names or numbers per player if you want them. Discounts start from 10 guards — see team and club orders.
Does a custom design protect better than a shop-bought mouthguard?
The design itself is cosmetic — what matters is the fit. A custom guard is made from an impression of your own teeth so it stays put and spreads impact properly, which a boil-and-bite cannot do. See custom vs boil-and-bite.
